One of the most popular aquarium in Kantoh Area, designed by Yoshio Taniguchi. Taniguchi also designed MOMA in N.Y.
The unique-style building by the glass. It has quite a different face in the night. The combination of its transparency & its illumination makes the building as something like a creature.

近年、開発の続く
汐留地区。その中でも一際目を引くのが、日本を代表する広告代理店・電通の本社ビル。日本のDDBですな。
足元に映る向かいのビルとの比較でもわかるとおり、高層ビルの立ち並ぶこのあたり一帯でもさらに一際高い高層ビルである。
しかし、注目すべきはそのファザードだろう。外面にガラス素材を使うことにより、従来のコンクリート高層ビルのイメージを一新しただけでなく、 視点、季節、時間帯によってその表情が大きく変わるのは、見ていて飽きない。
21世紀の高層建築を考える上でのアイディアが散りばめられているようなビルだった。

A unique condominium in the seaside area of Tokyo, using the blue-green color & geometric figure on the top.
Located at the corner, the building forms the polygon angle, a unique charactor of this architecture.
(I'm interested in the importance of the interior area, so I don't like this polygon form, which cut the interior space...)
Color of the building synchronizes that of store on the ground floor. In the condominiums in Japan, many pay little attention about the element of color.
This project seems to be a creative challenge for the residence of 21st century.
